Job Description


Position: Administrative Assistant 

Location: Walnut Creek, CA (fully onsite during training then 2 days remote) 

Pay: $52,000 to $58,000 annually 

Experience:  
  • 2+ years law firm experience. 
  • Recent college graduates with 6+ months clerical or office experience are encouraged to apply. 

Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred. 

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire  

Schedule: Day Shift, 9:00am-5:30pm 

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic law firm client!    

Job Description:   
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread routine law office correspondence and legal case matters. 
  • Complete check request forms. 
  • Monitor CLE tracking, renewing subscriptions/memberships, and enrollment in conferences. 
  • Make attorney travel arrangements; complete and submit expense reports. 
  • Schedule meetings, depositions and court reporters. 
  • Perform overflow support to legal secretary including all planning and meeting scheduling, reserving conference rooms, arranging video and teleconferencing support, ordering catering, and providing reference materials to attendees.  
  • Submit marketing expense requests/sponsorship forms. 
  • Enter new contacts into CRM system and add contacts to relevant mailing lists. 
  • Receive, screen, and transmit calls and take messages with recognition of clients and attention to needs.  
  • Schedule conference calls for attorneys. 
  • Enter attorney time in Intapp and draft engagement letters. 

Position Requirements:     
  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Must be a reliable team player with the ability to take initiative and meet deadlines. 
  • Must have excellent decision making and strong organizational/ communication skills to collaborate with a diverse group of clients, attorneys and staff with courtesy and tact.  
  • Notary Public is a plus. 
  • Experience with iManage is a plus.
