Century City law firm seeks a Legal File Clerk with 3 years of law firm experience for a temp-to-hire position. Candidate will work in the central file room with another file clerk, and will be responsible for indexing litigation files, and assisting with office services functions. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The qualified Legal File/Office Services Clerk must be experienced with paper filing for multiple cases and closing out files for storage. Experience with Word is required; FileSite and LegalKEY are preferred. This position requires excellent customer service, a good work ethic, a professional demeanor, and a strong attention to detail. The Legal File Clerk must have good communication skills and be able to comfortably lift and move 35 lbs. on a regular basis. Experience with Microsoft Word is required. Firm uses FileSite and LegalKEY, so experience with this software would be a plus.
