Job Description
Position: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay: $80,000 to $90,000 annually
Experience: 5+ years of experience to work on a dedicated case team, handling matters from inception through trial.
Education: Must have an ABA approved paralegal certificate.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Ordering medical records and preparing subpoenas.
- Managing pre-trial workup, creating trial binders, and sending documents to expert witnesses.
- Setting and calendaring depositions, preparing deposition notices, and arranging for court reporters.
Position Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, all phases of discovery, and the ability to proofread and cite check documents is required.
- Must be detailed-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks across several case related matters.
- Solid communication and time management skills are essential.
- Familiarity with various programs such as Summation, CaseMap, iManage and Trial Director, preferred.
