Position: Litigation Paralegal

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid, 4 days onsite)

Pay: $120,000 to $160,000 annually

Experience: 7+ years of experience to support attorneys in case management, court filings, document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, deposition and trial preparation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program are required.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:15am to 5:00pm (OT/travel as needed, 7.25 hours/day)

Job Description:
  • Support attorneys in all phases of litigation.
  • Assist attorneys in calendaring case deadlines, drafting court filings, and preparing in Federal and State courts.
  • Assist with discovery, document collection, organization, review, and production.
  • Proofread, cite-check, and blue book court briefs and discovery documents.
  • Assist with deposition, meetings, interview preparations, and all aspects, including travel, trial and arbitration preparations.
  • Prepare charts and submit timekeeping reports.
  • Perform day-to-day case management tasks, as well as coordinating with external vendors.
  • Mentor/provide guidance to junior paralegals and legal assistants.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, and iManage.
  • Experience with eDiscovery databases (Relativity, Opus 2, CaseMap), excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have superior analytical and reasoning abilities, be proactive, and be able to handle multiple projects and client matters simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in a large law firm, with expertise in Securities Litigation, Class Actions, AI, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Innovation, White Collar, or IP law preferred.
