Job Description
Position: Litigation Secretary
Location: Remote (must reside in California and be local to Downtown LA, Riverside, San Diego, Irvine, or Walnut Creek for occasional office meetings/events)
Pay: $70,000 to $95,000 annually
Experience: 5+ years’ experience with strong California State and Federal Court litigation skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Job Description:
- Provide support to attorneys and paralegals with complex litigation, trial preparation and California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) matters; municipal law experience is a plus.
- Preparing legal documents for filing/eFiling with various courts/jurisdictions.
- Preparing and processing new client matter reports.
- Providing assistance to visiting summer associates and attorneys.
- Accepting overflow work from other legal practice assistants.
Position Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), and iManage (or similar document management software).
- Candidate will be a highly organized team player and reliable self-starter with strong calendaring and proofreading skills.
- Ability to meet required deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective decision-making and communication/interpersonal skills are required.
