Position: Litigation Secretary

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (hybrid, 2 days in office after training)

Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 annually

Experience: 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience to support Labor & Employment attorneys with preparing correspondence and electronic court filing (eFiling) of pleadings for state, federal, and appellate courts.
  • Must have Labor & Employment and State, Federal, and Appellate experience.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Day Shift, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client.

Job Description:
  • Assisting with trial preparation, arranging court appearances and reserving court reporters for depositions, setting up client meetings/conferences, and scanning case documents and saving to file noting related calendar deadlines.
  • Administrative duties include coordinating travel (logistics and itinerary), performing attorney timesheet entry, creating expense reports, and records management.

Position Requirements:
  • Must have strong word processing skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
