Law firm seeks a Marketing Assistant with 2 years of marketing experience, law firm experience is a plus, but is not required. Selected candidate may work out of the Los Angeles or Orange County branch office. Candidate will work collaboratively with attorneys, practice groups and the Business Development Department responding to proposal/pitch opportunities and RFP responses; updating and maintaining marketing collateral, including practice group descriptions, attorney biographies, and website/intranet content; and remaining current on competition, industry trends, and researching prospects. Candidate will track and update lists and databases; plan events and seminars, traveling as necessary; and provide general support to the Business Development department initiatives including sponsorships, award submissions, e-marketing efforts, website and blog support, and public relations (PR). The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with overtime and travel availability needed.
The Marketing Assistant must have a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with InterAction or other CRM is preferred. Candidate must be comfortable working with and learning new technologies, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and display outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. The ideal Marketing Assistant will be creative and flexible.
