Office Services Clerk

Los Angeles law firm seeks an Office Services Clerk for a temporary assignment expected to last about 2 months. Responsibilities include high volume print jobs; binding using a table top drill; quality checking work; providing support or backup coverage for the reception involving greeting clients and booking meeting; and answering and forwarding phone calls; The Office Services Clerk will also provide backup hospitality support for conference room set-ups including table and chair layouts, catering services, and inventory and ordering of all basic office supplies. The Office services clerk will sort and distribute incoming mail to office personnel; travel to post office as necessary; distribute and pick up interoffice mail as scheduled; prepare interoffice pouches and track delivery; respond to routine inquiries regarding mail procedures, postal rates and service levels; and monitor appropriate level of postage in the meter to meet usage requirements. Candidate will manage incoming and outgoing faxes, distributing as appropriate via desktop faxing module/email. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The qualified candidate must be able to operate a multi-function copy device, postage meter, binding machine, table top paper drill, and high capacity stapler; proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; desktop faxing, communication, and print attachments. This position requires the ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. Outstanding customer service skills are essential.
