Conflicts and Intake Analyst

West Los Angeles law firm seeks a Conflicts Analyst with 2 years of experience. Selected candidate will process intake and conflict searches, both internal and external, on new hires, clients, and other parties for all potential firm matters. Analyst will prepare, analyze, and summarize conflict check results, identifying and clearing potential conflicts; prepare waiver letters; maintain conflicts database, process all new business intake forms, enter and maintain the information in the accounting database, and inform manager of special billing instructions. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant information management or legal studies discipline is required. The Conflicts Analyst must have a working knowledge of technology relating to new business intake and conflict initiative, and advanced internet research skills. Experience with Elite, Aderant, or Omega Enterprise is preferred. Familiarity with new business intake and conflicts systems, and knowledge of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct pertaining to business intake and conflicts is preferred. Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook functions. A strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills are required. The Conflicts Analyst must have the ability to meet deadlines.
