Large law firm seeks a Human Resources Assistant with 5 years of human resources experience to provide support to the human resources department management.  Recent HR or business field college grads without 3 years of experience, but with strong administrative skills (in lieu of experience) are encouraged to apply.  Responsibilities include handling the recruitment process, posting job listings, and screening applications and resumes, preparing offer letters and correspondence, coordinating applicant interview schedules, assisting with employee orientations, general filing and photocopying, answering department phones, and acting as department liaison to support staff and attorneys.  The HR Coordinator will provide information to employees regarding payroll, policies, and benefits.  The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

 Qualified Human Resources Coordinator candidates must have knowledge of state and federal labor laws and best practices, strong computer skills and good Word, Excel, and Outlook features knowledge.  Candidate must have a professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail.  The ability to work in an environment with multiple competing priorities and maintain a high quality work product is necessary.  Ideal candidate will be ready to step in and fill this role with little training.
