Legal Technology Trainer

Pasadena law firm seeks an IT Trainer with 2 years of experience training end users in a law firm. Candidate will provide classroom and individual support to attorneys and staff on various applications and systems dedicated to the legal profession. Selected Technology Trainer will create, deliver, and improve training, providing supporting materials. This role maintains a working knowledge of help desk policies and procedures. Candidate will assist with hardware and peripheral setup as needed, and provide assistance with word processing or document editing and manipulation occasionally. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The qualified IT Trainer must have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, iManage (FileSite/Worksite), Adobe Acrobat, and other legal applications and systems advanced features skills. Experience with remote access technologies such as Citrix, LogMeIn, VNC, and Skype is necessary. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Prior experience as a legal secretary or word processor is preferred. Candidate should be creative and resourceful in working with all levels of staff and management. The Technology Trainer must be personable and approachable, with excellent customer service skills. Candidate will learn new technologies quickly, keep abreast of new developments, and have the ability to communicate and teach staff at various levels of proficiency. Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are essential.
