Century City law firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal with 5 years of experience to support attorneys in the litigation practice department. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys in case management including Shepardizing, preparing trial and exhibit binders, deposition summaries, document review, redactions, privilege logs and productions, bates-stamping, indexing of documents, categorizing documents by subject matter, preparing a chronology of facts, and creating production charts. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with overtime flexibility necessary.
The qualified Litigation Paralegal must have strong technical skills and be a proficient user of Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel. A Bachelor's Degree and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved school is highly desired. An in-depth knowledge of electronic research technology (LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc. is preferred. Experience with Relativity is a plus. Superior time management and organization is essential. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Litigation Paralegal will have superior knowledge of the legal process, documents and terminology. Trial experience is not required.
