Office Services Assistant

Office Services Assistant is needed at a Los Angeles law firm. This position requires 1 year of experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Candidate will assist attorneys and support staff by duplicating, binding, faxing, and mailing documents; arranging courier services; and handling reception coverage and hospitality. The Office Services Clerk will answer questions, troubleshoot issues with copiers and other office equipment, and assist with complex copy jobs. Responsibilities also include mail, fax, and pouch sorting and distribution; tabbing, binding, and enhancing document copy quality; and recording of expenses and tracking of work projects. Hospitality duties include delivering food and beverages to conference rooms, and handling food set-up, then cleaning up following meetings. The hours are 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with evening and weekend overtime availability needed.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Candidate should be able to operate high speed printers, copiers, document scanners, GBC binding, 3-hole punch and mail machines, and type 40 wpm. The Office Services Assistant must have excellent customer service skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and be an effective communicator.
