Position: Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager

Location: Hiring candidates from IL, WI, TX, or Washington DC (Hybrid, at least 3 days onsite and up to 20% travel)

Pay: $175-200k/yr (depending on experience)

Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive business development or marketing experience; Three (3) years of experience supporting litigation practice teams in legal services

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: M-F, 9:00am to 5:30pm

Job Description:
  • Develop and execute focused business development and profile-raising programs to engage clients and drive revenue
  • Offer advice, actionable insights, and meaningful market analysis to departments and practice groups’ strategies and business plans
  • Work with practice group chairs and key partners to develop, plan, and implement business development and marketing plans, strategic initiatives, events/programs, and targeted pitches that support business growth
  • Identify prospective clients and cross-selling to expand existing client relationships
  • Coach on related business development and marketing activities while leading writing projects
  • Conduct client feedback sessions and ensure feedback is documented and communicated
  • Work with communications and PR teams to oversee the creation and updating of pitch materials, brochures, practice group descriptions, website content, deal, experience lists, and other marketing collateral
  • Evaluate sponsorships and opportunities to ensure the firm receives the maximum return on its investment

Position Requirements:
  • Ability to lead a high-performing and results-oriented team
  • Provide discipline to advance projects to desired outcome
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload, competing priorities, and multi-task effectively
  • Orchestrate change using diplomacy and persuasion
  • Proven track record in developing and administering successful business development and client service programs
