Job Description
Law firm seeks a Legal Biller. Selected candidate will have 5 years of experience, and will manage full cycle billing responsibilities including generating, printing, and distributing monthly prebills to assigned partners and following up to ensure prebills are returned by the deadline; perform narrative edits, time/cost adjustments and write-offs; certify bills meet agreed client guidelines; and generate final invoices. The Legal Billing Specialist will respond to billing inquiries and generate regular and ad-hoc reports. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Requirements
The qualified Legal Biller must be proficient in MS Office. Experience with Elite 3E billing software is a plus. Knowledge of split and multi-payor billing is a plus. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to meet established deadlines while remaining organized.
