Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Intake of all checks and ACHs including identifying each check/ACH for correct client /matter number and correct client/matter percentage allocation researching/problem solving if percentage or share is not correct.
- Responsible for preparing bank deposits and taking to bank.
- Updating A/R books and worksheets daily and publishing worksheets monthly.
- Reviewing delinquent A/R including performing steps to recover receivables.
- Generating monthly financial projections report and performing client intake activities to ensure accurate information is entered.
Position Requirements:
- Intermediate Excel user with a good sense of numbers to create worksheets with formulas and be familiar with commonly used law firm accounting software (firm uses PerfectLaw).
- Experience with eBilling software such as TyMetrix 360, CounselLink, and Serengeti (or similar) will be helpful to review and edit pre-bills/client invoices.
- Candidate will have excellent communication skills and be highly organized.
