Job Description

Law firm seeks a Cash Receipts Coordinator with 2 years of experience in finance or accounting (A/R experience preferred) in a professional services setting. Position may be based out of LA, NY, or DC office.  Responsibilities include performing exchange/cost analysis; posting daily cash receipts; auditing/reconciling daily deposits; and preparing and distributing daily cash reports to Management.  Accounts Receivable Coordinator will also research A/R system issues and open support tickets; respond to internal/external client audit requests; process client refunds in Chrome River; reviewing outstanding check report; and preparing ad-hoc reports required for analysis on special projects and upper management requests.

Overtime flexibility is needed, particularly at month and year end.

Job Requirements

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any business relate field are preferred.  Cash Receipts Coordinator must have advanced proficiency in accounts receivable systems (Elite preferred) and MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and spreadsheets and database applications; advanced knowledge of general accounting, financial and accounts receivable principles, standards and procedures.
