Billing Coordinator

Job Description
Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Pay: $85,000 to $90,000 annually
Experience: 5+ years of law firm experience.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 8:00am to 5:30pm (40-hour week)
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Maintain accurate records of client billing guidelines, executed agreements, and collections activities.
- Enter attorney time.
- Prepare/process monthly invoices (100 invoices per month).
- Review/verify the accuracy of bills with required supporting documentation.
- Submit finalized invoices through eBilling portals and email; monitor invoice status/track approval process.
- Communicate with attorneys to handle appeals and process write-offs.
- Reconcile A/R and process payments, identify and collect past-due balances, and manage client accounts (tracking payment schedules/status updates).
- Maintain detailed records of collection efforts/status, assist in preparing and reporting against client budgets, and complete ad hoc billing requests.
Position Requirements:
- Must be highly independent and self-motivated with the ability to provide excellent customer service and support special projects.
- Strong analytical skills, highly organized, and possess strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Centerbase is a plus.
