Job Description


Law firm seeks a Business Development Specialist with 2 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment.  Marketing Specialist will assist with the creation of attorney business development plans focusing on the expansion of relationships with existing clients, target markets, and prospects; work closely with the Chief Business Development Officer, Business Development Director, and Business Development Manager to support cross-selling and industry opportunities and identify the best way to capture opportunities; support post-marketing effort follow-up to sustain momentum, including lead generation and development of an actionable plan; develop customized materials for prospect/client pitches and presentations with attorneys and policy advisors; assist with responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs); track and analyze business development activities; and manage related projects.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexibility for occasional overtime and travel needed.

Position is hybrid, 2-3 days onsite and may be based out of Los Angeles or Orange County office.  

 

Job Requirements

A bachelors degree in a field requiring writing, research and analysis, marketing or business skills (or equivalent experience) is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication and time management skills is essential.
