Job Description:
- Review new file requests and amendments to existing files for quality and accuracy
- Research new clients and conduct in-depth research of conflict parties using external databases, such as Hoovers, Dunn & Bradstreet, LexisNexis, and internet searches
- Perform conflict searches on new file requests, identifying potential conflicts of interest, and conducting internal and external research on client entity
- Analyze and summarize findings for review by the Ethics Committee and Business Intake Committee
- Monitor Conflict Check Requests and Client Intake Approvals email boxes for incoming requests
- Troubleshoot issues and escalating inquiries to appropriate staff or attorneys
- Assist administrative staff with opening new files and processing change tasks
Position Requirements:
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong communication skills: ability to interact in both written and oral form with all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail and research abilities
- Experience with logic-based searching is preferred
