Job Description

Law firm seeks a Communications Coordinator with 2 years of experience as a writer or working in a marketing function, ideally within a law firm, newsroom, consulting, or professional services environment.  Coordinator will support the Communications Manager by coordinating media outreach with external PR agency; support submission of attorney-authored contributed content to media outlets; draft firm and individual attorney nominations for legal and industry awards; develop and maintain quarterly award calendars; monitor and report on awards won; draft and post social media content, liaising with the graphics and attorney development teams; develop, maintain, and execute social media calendar; monitor and report on social media analytics and media mentions based upon firm brand, key messages, and strategic priorities; develop, maintain, and execute editorial calendar; draft and post website content, including writeups on cases, awards and other firm activities; provide support on website audits; monitor and report on website content and analytics; maintain and regularly update content assets; create and distribute internal newsletters and memoranda; ensure distributed content is final, approved, and proofed before implementation; coordinate project timelines and proactively follow-up on deadlines; maintain necessary documentation and trackers to inform real-time reporting and analysis and submit expense reports.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with occasional overtime availability needed

Position is hybrid, 3 days onsite

Job Requirements

A bachelors degree is required.  Excellent attention to detail and writing/editing skills are needed.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Candidate will have ability to perform competitive research and synthesize data into reports.
