Job Description
Position: Conflicts Analyst
Location: Fully Remote, but must reside in the West Coast (California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington)
Experience: At least three (3) years conflict experience in a law firm; Experience with clearing conflicts for insurance carriers is preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm (must be flexible to work overtime)
Pay: $75,000 to $95,000 annually
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join our dynamic law firm client.
Job Description:
- Research prospective clients and other entities in internal databases and external references consistent with established department procedures.
- Provide clear and well written summaries of potential conflicts issues and possible resolutions to attorneys using established guidelines.
- Regularly consult with the Supervisor to discuss conflicts reports and responses from Attorneys requiring additional review and suggest resolutions.
- Follow up in a timely manner with Attorneys and Assistants to ensure resolution of conflicts issues.
- Respond accurately to department email inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Complete occasional special projects.
Position Requirements:
- Experience with lateral checks and construction defect cases is highly preferred.
- Must have strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience with iManage, Aderant (Conflicts Web Browser, Expert Assistant, and Expert), S&P Capital IQ, and Thomson Reuters’ Company Investigator is a plus!
