Job Description
Position: Corporate Transactional Secretary
Location: Cerritos, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $75,000 to $90,000 annually
Experience: 3 years experience to support three transactional attorneys.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required, and bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 8am-5:30pm
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Corporate Transactional Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Creating, editing, revising, redlining, and proofreading documents.
- Preparing communications (letters, memos, emails, reports).
- Processing/monitoring expense reports/reimbursements, vendor bills/check requests.
- Assisting attorneys with time entry/prebills.
- Managing calendars/coordinating meetings and arranging travel.
- Maintaining administrative and client files.
- Providing back-up support to other legal secretaries firmwide.
Position Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with timekeeping/billing software (Aderant preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of legal terminology and excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work and communicate workload challenges to attorneys and administrative managers.
- Superior communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and individuals at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational, grammar, spelling and proofreading skills to support heavy administrative responsibilities.
