Job Description
Position: DE&I Coordinator
Location: Downtown LA, Century City, Orange County, San Francisco or Washington DC (Hybrid; 3 days onsite)
Pay: $70,000 to $85,000 annually
Experience: 2+ years' experience in a law firm.
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (able to travel 1-2 times per year and work overtime as needed)
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a DE&I Coordinator to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the DE&I team.
- Coordinate relevant DE&I meetings, events, and programs.
- Acquire, compile, and organize data for industry surveys and requests from clients, including RFPs.
- Provide administrative support for DE&I budget tracking and invoice processing.
- Identifies DE&I goals and uses metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and programs.
- Maintain the DE&I intranet pages, distribution lists and events calendar.
- Create reference repositories and best practice/process documents.
- Stay informed of DE&I practices and emerging trends and commits to engaging in the study of the DEI craft.
Position Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including proofing and editing.
- Highly organized, extremely responsive, and attentive to detail.
- Desire to be proactive, learn, build relationships, and contribute ideas.
- Demonstrated experience navigating complex situations that require creative thinking.
- Impeccable professional judgment and discretion with confidential information.
