Job Description

Large law firm seeks a Docket and Calendar Clerk with 2 years of experience.  Candidates without docketing experience who have a law firm background will be considered.  Responsibilities include interacting with attorneys and docket team to coordinate master calendar of all court deadlines in CompuLaw; calendaring new events daily and determining court dates by reviewing relevant documents, research through PACER and other court metadata resources; maintaining firm court rule books through research and filing; monitoring updates of court rules and procedures; remaining current with and communicating rule changes to legal staff; responding to calendaring inquiries; performing routine administrative maintenance for firm CompuLaw MyView (web-based calendaring application); performing user administrative tasks for eFiling service providers; activating jurisdiction based case watching services; and electronically retrieving court documents. 

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.with overtime flexibility needed

Position is hybrid, 3 days onsite

Job Requirements

An college degree and experience with CompuLaw are preferred.  The Docket Clerk must have advanced proficiency in rules of English, grammar, spelling and punctuation; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; and familiarity with legal technology.
