Human Resources Coordinator
Reputable and respected non-profit organization seeks a Human Resources Coordinator with 3 years of experience to support the Director of Human Resources. Responsibilities include data entry of new hires, employee changes, and terminations in HRIS system; I-9 documentation verification and personnel file maintenance; employment verification requests; and workers' comp claim processing and management. The HR Coordinator will manage recruitment process by posting open positions; reviewing applications; scheduling and conducting testing, phone screens, and onsite interviews; conducting background and reference checks; handle onboarding and new employee orientations; and manage terminations. Candidate will also ensure HR policy communication and update accordingly; and handle all benefit inquiries. Additional duties include assisting with the preparation of reports and annual budget; overseeing employee access/parking cards and security clearances; maintain inventory and distribution of uniforms; and maintaining meeting minutes and documentation. The qualified Human Resources Coordinator will have an associate’s degree or 5 years of experience in lieu of the degree. Candidate must have a valid driver license with a satisfactory driving record. Outstanding interpersonal skills and good computer skills are needed. Excellent spelling and grammar are required.
