Job Description

Law firm seeks an IT Trainer with 3 years of experience, preferably in a law firm setting, to assist with conducting new hire IT orientation tailored to specific practice groups.  Trainer will assist with researching, planning, organizing and conducting training programs, seminars, and conferences for attorneys and staff; collaborate with Training Manager to prepare and distribute training aids, such as self-study materials, application handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids and coordinate distribution of vendor provided eLearning for self-directed learners; assist with preparing learning plans and skills development roadmaps for learners; review and evaluate existing/proposed training programs, and recommend changes; setting up audio-visual equipment and preparing presentations; translate technical concepts and terms into understandable terminology for participants; and track learner participation and training completion with reports to firm management and staff supervisors.  Additional duties include responding to and prioritizing help desk requests assigned to training; and tracking end user ticket history on tickets assigned to training and following-up with user requests.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Position is hybrid, 2 days onsite


Job Requirements

Trainer must have Microsoft Office advanced features skills; expert knowledge of various legal software and SAS; and strong communication skills to interact with users of different levels.
