Job Description


Law firm seeks an Information Technology Manager with 10 years of progressive experience (law firm preferred) to be responsible for firmwide IT department providing service to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff in multiple offices with about 200 users.  The IT Manager’s responsibilities will include managing a team of 5 supporting day to day IT network and systems operations including access and creation; server room operations; security infrastructure operations; backups and restores and server patching; and hardware, software, phone system and audio visual maintenance and upgrades. Duties include effectively managing cyber security, compliance requirements, and disaster recovery preparedness; migrating operations to new office spaces and users; performing technology maintenance to facilitate to ensure systems are up to date. Manager will develop and maintain budgets for licensing, hardware, and software upgrades, providing technical forecasting and planning. Candidate will also support help desk in off hours. 

The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Position is hybrid, 2 days onsite.

Job Requirements

Experience managing IT in a MS Office 2010/Windows 7 environment is required. Must have prior experience working with MPLS networks and diverting and routing traffic around link failures and congestion within the network. Firm uses CMS/Aderant, NetDocs, Relativity Summation and Legal MacPac, and a large data server, with virtual servers for all offices (some with independent content) housed at main site.
