Position: Legal Recruiting Coordinator
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid, 1-3 days onsite)
Pay: $66,600 to $90,000 annually
Experience: 3+ years related experience in campus recruitment, particularly with a law firm.
Education: High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Provide support to attorneys and summer associates for the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. offices.
- Work closely with a Legal Recruiting Manager to coordinate all aspects of law student and attorney recruiting efforts coordinating administrative aspects of on-campus and entry-level recruiting.
- Registering for on-campus interviewing (OCI) programs, job fairs and student outreach events, and preparing interview packets/materials.
- Support the law school liaisons by tracking activity and providing event logistical support.
- Help plan and coordinate the summer associate program including researching/planning social events, preparing orientation schedules, maintaining summer program materials/tracking budget, compiling materials for weekly committee meetings, overseeing work assignment process, and maintaining summer associate calendar.
- Liaise with marketing department to enhance social media profiles.
- Prepare candidate offers.
- Prepare, send and track search firm fee agreements.
- Update Workday ATS, prepare reports and attorney statistics needed for surveys, questionnaires and firm-related matters.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word) and SharePoint to enhance data sharing and create SharePoint site content.
- Fluency with LawCruit and ViRecruit, ViDesktop, and Workday (HRIS/ATS) is preferred.
- Must have strong verbal/written communication skills to effectively develop and maintain partnerships with attorneys, professionals, management and peers.
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices; ability to organize/prioritize multiple assignments and to find creative solutions/avenues to solve operational and strategic issues of law school recruitment.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms.
- Analyzing reports/projections regarding market trends in diversity, legal recruiting and retention.
