Position: Litigation Docket Manager 

Location: Remote 

Pay: $125,000 to $180,000 annually 

Experience: Extensive docketing and case management experience in a law firm docket department required. 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; equivalent training and legal experience may substitute for education. 

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire  

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (occasional OT and travel for business to national firm offices as needed) 

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Docket Manager to join our dynamic law firm client!    

Job Description:   
  • Establish and maintain docketing policies, procedures, and best practices. 
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, local procedures, and firm policies regarding docketing.  
  • Monitor and review entry of litigation deadlines, court dates and related events into the docketing software. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of docket data and reports distributed to attorneys and staff. 
  • Respond promptly to information requests from attorneys and professional staff regarding docketed dates, agency and court rules and procedures. 
  • Stay current with changes in court rules and procedures, and updating processes. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for litigation docketing issues and escalation. 
  • Assist with the development of department policies and procedures and innovation-related projects. 

Position Requirements:     
  • Proven proficiency in utilizing docketing software (eDockets, CompuLaw, CourtAlert) for calendaring and reporting is required.  
  • Must possess strong leadership and team management skills.  
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state court rules, procedures, eFiling procedures and technologies.  
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).  
  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure compliance under tight deadlines.
