Job Description
Position: Litigation Secretary
Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid, 3 days in office Mon-Wed and 2 days remote)
Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 annually
Experience: 3 years of experience; Labor & employment law experience is highly preferred.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required, and some college coursework is preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 9:00am to 5:30pm or 9:30am to 6:00pm (with an hour for lunch, must be available for occasional OT)
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Secretary to support three Labor & Employment Attorneys with administrative functions including preparing correspondence and electronic court filing (eFiling) of pleadings for state and federal courts.
Job Description:
- Assist with trial preparation, arranging court appearances and reserving court reporters for depositions, setting up client meetings/conferences, and scanning case documents and saving to file noting related calendar deadlines.
- Coordinate travel including logistics and itinerary, perform attorney timesheet entry, create expense reports, maintain records, and provide overflow support to firm Administrator.
Position Requirements:
- Must have strong word processing and technical skills.
- Must have strong knowledge of Excel and Word functions, and experience with CompuLaw and iManage (or similar DMS); strong word processing and technical skills.
