Job Description
Law firm seeks a Litigation Secretary with 3 years of experience in personal injury (plaintiff-side) for an open-ended temporary assignment. Candidate will provide support to sole practitioner on complex PI cases. Responsibilities include client intake/pre-litigation; preparing pleadings and discovery; monitoring/managing case files; arranging for arbitration and mediation hearings; calendaring attorney appearances/appointments; assisting with trial preparation of multiple Superior Court matters including preparing clients for deposition; drafting/composing complex demand letters and regularly communication with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers. Other duties include overflow reception functions, attorney time entry, and preparing monthly pre-bills for partner review.
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Firm is open to shortened week/hours.

Job Requirements
Candidate must be skilled in both pre-litigation and litigation and proficient in MS Word and Outlook.
