Position: Litigation Secretary
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay: $30-$35/hr (Depending on experience)
Experience: 3 years of related experience
Education: High school diploma or GED
Type: Full-time; Temporary
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30pm
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Handle the filing/eFiling of legal documents in state and federal courts
- Preparing and formatting briefs, pleadings and legal documents such as summons, complaints, motions, briefs, subpoenas, contracts and agreements, and corresponding with clients
- Composing correspondence
- Reading and routing incoming mail and email
- File maintenance, scanning invoices, entering attorney time and submitting expense reimbursements in Chrome River
- Handle arranging travel plans
- Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate conference calls and video meetings
- Manage calendars and docket reminders
Position Requirements:
- Experience in MS Office (Word – advanced functions in styles, TOA/TOC, Excel, Outlook)
- Accurate spelling and grammar skills
- Strong attention to detail
