Position: Litigation Secretary
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $80,000 to $85,000 annually
Experience: 5+ years of experience.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 9am to 5:30pm
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Support attorneys with court filing/eFiling in state and federal court, editing and finalizing litigation documents, maintaining calendars and files, preparing correspondence, and performing attorney timekeeping functions.
- Administrative duties include extensive coordination and scheduling of internal/external meetings including catering and needed documents.
- Arranging conference calls/video conference meetings via Outlook and Zoom.
- Coordinating domestic/international travel (air, ground, lodging) including managing payment, tracking itinerary changes, composing detailed itineraries, printing boarding passes/checking-in for flights, and organizing/creating expense reports.
Position Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, editing and conversion tools, and document and case management software (FileSite, eCopy).
- Knowledgeable in discovery procedures and deadlines and utilizing Legal Solutions, File & ServeXpress, iManage, and jury instructions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines independently with strong attention to detail are required.
- Prior civil litigation experience is required.
