Job Description
Position:Â Litigation SecretaryÂ
Location: Los Angeles (Mid-Wilshire), CA (Onsite the first 6 months, then potential to pivot to 1-2 days remote/week)Â
Pay: $80,000 to $104,000 annuallyÂ
Experience: 3+ years’ experience to provide litigation support to multiple attorneys.Â
Education:Â High school diploma or GED; Associate's/Bachelor's degree, preferred.Â
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Â
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40-hour week)Â
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client!  Â
Job Description:Â Â Â
- Prepare complex legal documents for filing/eFiling in State and Federal courts. Â
- Handle document production and proofreading/editing correspondence.Â
- Interact and communicate with clients, courts, and attorneys.Â
- Provide administrative assistance with file management. Â
- Coordinate multiple calendars/appointments, arrange travel, and prepare expense reimbursements and itineraries.Â
Position Requirements:Â Â Â
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), commonly used DMS (iManage preferred) and attorney timekeeping systems (Coyote preferred), and extensive experience with eFiling. Â
- Understanding of court rules and civil procedures in State and Federal jurisdictions; transactional law and administrative hearing knowledge is a plus. Â
- Experience with JuraLaw (legal calendaring) strongly preferred. Candidate will be proactive, highly responsible, and accountable.Â
