Job Description
Law firm seeks a Litigation Secretary with 3 years of experience to support attorneys on a litigation desk. Candidate will file in the state and federal court including eFiling; prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery and hearing binders; assist with trial preparation; handle calendaring for hearings, pre-trial and discovery deadlines; enter attorney time; fax and scan documents; and arrange attorney travel.
The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with travel flexibility as needed

Job Requirements
The Litigation Secretary will have Word advanced features skills, Adobe, editing and conversion tools, and document and case management software such as FileSite or eCopy; prior experience with discovery procedures and deadlines including utilizing iManage, Legal Solutions, File & Serve express or FileSite is preferred. Selected candidate will be well-organized, have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a background in jury instructions. Prior civil litigation experience is preferred.
