Law firm seeks a Litigation Secretary for a temporary assignment at the Orange County branch office. This assignment is expected to last approximately 5 months to cover a leave of absence. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of local, state, and federal court filing rules, including eFiling. Civil litigation and general liability experience is required; medical malpractice experience is a plus. The qualified Litigation Secretary must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office functions and familiarity with document management systems. Excellent proofreading, and written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Selected candidate will be professional, with a high level of attention to detail. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
