Job Description
Law firm seeks a temporary Litigation Secretary with 3 years of experience for a temporary assignment expected to last 3 to 6 months. Candidate will be responsible for filing/eFiling legal documents in state and federal courts; preparing and formatting briefs, pleadings and legal documents such as summons, complaints, motions, briefs, subpoenas, contracts and agreements; and corresponding with clients. Other duties include composing correspondence; reading and routing incoming mail and email; file maintenance; scanning invoices, entering attorney time and submitting expense reimbursements in Chrome River; and arranging travel, maintaining attorney calendars, coordinating conference calls and video meetings, and managing calendars and docket reminders. Attorney support is assigned through a pool format.
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Position is hybrid, 3 days onsite and may be based out of the Orange County branch office.
