Law firm seeks a Marketing Assistant with one year of law firm experience. Selected candidate will perform marketing and business development activities to support firmwide initiatives and firm recognition. The Marketing Assistant will edit legal media surveys and submissions for awards and attorney or firm recognition; update legal directories to highlight firm strengths, philosophies, and goals; and capture relevant information for the firm experience database. Responsibilities include maintaining marketing and communications materials and collateral, including practice capability descriptions and LinkedIn updates, event handouts, attorney bios, journal ads, and press releases. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications are preferred. The Marketing Assistant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading abilities necessary to communicate clear and concise messages intended for a sophisticated business and legal audience. Qualified candidate will have Word, Excel, and PowerPoint advanced features skills; social media proficiency across a variety of platforms is also highly desired.
