Pay:Â $92,000 to $110,000 annually
Experience:Â 4+ years of journalism, PR agency, or professional services experience.
Education:Â Bachelor's Degree is required.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Work with Marketing Communications Senior Manager to develop content for use across various external and internal platforms that support the firm's strategic direction and align with practice objectives.
- Draft/edit a wide range of copy to develop messaging, collateral, ads, draft press releases, biographies, and develop award and ranking submissions, among other strategic communications projects.
- Use Asana to track MarComm project details, tasks, and timelines to ensure appropriate coordination with Marketing colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage awards and rankings process, monitoring for and flagging deadlines, new award opportunities, and assisting with drafting or overseeing PR agency drafting of award submissions.
- Shape and execute social media strategy by drafting, planning, and posting content on a regular basis.
- Compose/post content on the website and intranet. Assist with monthly reporting of social media metrics and provide recommendations for improvement based on trending analytics.
- Promote/support events, webinars, speaking engagements, and conferences by drafting or editing web posts, invitations, speaking proposals, and program content including biographies, firm descriptions, and ads. Ensure branding and style consistency throughout marketing collateral.
- Provide media relations support including media lists, pitching, and monitoring for mentions.
- Collaborate with marketing, attorneys, and other business professionals.
Position Requirements:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills and mastery of AP Style.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and professionals at all levels.
- Social media savvy, with the ability to craft social media language that aligns with firm tone and appeals to followers on all platforms. Familiarity with social media management platforms is a plus.
- High level of creativity and detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality control.
- Flexibility to adjust the schedule according to workload demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with HubSpot marketing platform, Asana, or MarComm is highly desired.
- Track record of producing positive media placements for a law firm or other professional services organization.
- Knowledge of various media platforms in which attorneys can obtain visibility, including electronic media.
