- Ability to take on complex legal matters and can take initiative as well as the ability to work collaboratively with staff and elected officials.
- Strong communication and advocacy skills required.
- Proficiency in public bidding and contracting, procurement, prevailing wage, franchise agreements and Prop. 218.
- Working knowledge of the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, Conflict of Interest law, and election laws is a plus.
- Experience working with public bodies is a plus.
