Los Angeles law firm seeks an Office Administrator with 5 years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment. Candidate will oversee daily operations of firm and non-attorney staff; manage and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development for secretaries, paralegals, and clerical staff; serve as a liaison for staff and firm leadership; act as point-of-contact with building management, oversee office cleanliness and maintenance, represent the firm at tenant meetings, and direct emergency preparedness. Additional duties include evaluating office needs and coordinating workflow to ensure efficient use of resources and appropriate staffing levels; collaborating with accounting department to establish budget and track expenses; maintaining local records management; and coordinating social events. The Office Manager will work with various departments to facilitate interdepartmental projects. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The qualified Office Administrator will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, strong MS Office features skills, and be customer service driven with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff. A strong working knowledge of iManage, FileSite, DeskSite, Interwoven, or related content management solutions are required. Experience with CompuLaw, Chrome River, and Aderant is preferred.
