Law firm seeks an Office Administrator with 5 years of experience in a law firm or professional service setting to manage daily Los Angeles branch office operations. The Office Manager will oversee local human resources functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and discipline; maintain confidential employee information and files in compliance with best practices; manage support staff workflow and staffing levels; and oversee performance evaluations and compensation. Selected candidate will also monitor annual operation budget including equipment and supply purchases; collaborate with other branch Office Administrators, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Human Resources on special projects; act as point of contact with building management for facility issues; and coordinate social and community events. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The salary range is $100,000 to $145,000
Qualified Office Administrator must have a bachelor’s degree or a Human Resources Certificate, and extensive knowledge of California labor and employment laws and best practices. Selected candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills to interact with senior management, staff, and vendors.
