Job Description
Position: Office/HR Coordinator
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $75,000 to $105,000 annually
Experience: 3+ years of experience in professional services to work in collaboration with the Office Administrator, providing support for the management of all office administration/operations functions.
Education: Associate or bachelor's degree.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking an Office/HR Coordinator to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Coordinate and execute office meetings and events.
- Ensure office resource materials are updated regularly.
- Oversee daily assistant services, workflow, back-up support, timecards, and time off requests.
- Utilize appropriate resources to meet local training and development needs for Assistants.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring.
- Administer onboarding process for business professionals (coordinating and conducting new hire orientations).
- Assist with the facilitation of professional development training programs for business professionals.
- Maintain local emergency supplies and oversee safety training.
- Ensure compliance with building rules and regulations/liaise with building management
- Coordinate timely payment of office expenses.
- Support annual budget process (quarterly variance reports, reporting any discrepancies and working with Finance to reclassify expenditures).
- Assist with the annual business professional review process.
- Provide support for employee relations activities.
- Process terminations and conduct exit interviews.
- Administer rideshare and LA commuter program, including updates to monthly reports.
- Responds to day-to-day HR policy and operational questions.
Position Requirements:
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills including the ability to be highly customer service oriented and work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Must be forward thinking, proactive, and able to demonstrate initiative while managing and meeting deadlines.
- Outstanding relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate equally well with all stakeholders across the Firm.
