Position: Office Manager
Location: Orange County, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $135,000 to $170,000 annually
Experience: 2+ years of experience to oversee daily law firm operations including human resources functions and managing of paralegals, secretaries, office services, records, and accounting teams.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 9:00am to 5:30pm (37.5 work week)

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking an Office Manager to join our dynamic law firm client!  

Job Description: 
  • Responsible for staff recruiting, hiring, training, performance evaluations, discipline/discharge, office orientations, benefit administration, emergency/safety practices, and overall employee relations.
  • Contribute to cost-effective office management including budget input and variance accountability, accounts payable, accounting report review and analysis.
  • Coordinate with practice groups/firm management relating to office support and best practices.
  • Facilities management, including economic use of office space, facility improvements and build outs, moves, and liaison with building management.
  • Manage day-to-day facility operations including conference center, reception collaborating with firm wide administration and management teams.
  • Coordination with firm wide procurement efforts for supplies, equipment, and other purchases for the local office.

Position Requirements:    
  • Must possess knowledge of local, state and federal labor and employment laws and policies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Possess knowledge and skills relating to conflict management techniques.
  • Knowledge of general accounting processes, terms, concepts, and policies; Knowledge of workforce demographic and trends in the legal industry.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
