Job Description


Position: Practice Coordinator 

Location: Los Angeles or San Francisco, CA (hybrid, 2 days onsite) 

Pay: $85,000 to $100,000/yr (Depending on experience) 

Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a litigation secretary    

Education: High school diploma/equivalent (required). Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred)  

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire  

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5pm (overtime and flexibility in schedule required) 

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Practice Coordinator to join our dynamic law firm client!    

Job Description:   
  • Assist with document production including formatting, editing, proofreading, and finalizing correspondence, memoranda, briefs, motions, and pleadings
  • Handle filing and eFiling with state and federal courts
  • Assist with client support including maintaining client files and electronic files in iManage
  • Maintain calendar coordination, litigation calendaring, scheduling of meetings, depositions, and conference calls
  • Handle WebEx software including invite reminders, book conference rooms, and offsite reservations
  • Prepare new client/new matter forms, assist with conflict searches, and prepare engagement letters
  • Assist attorneys with time entry, monitoring the status of outstanding client invoices, and submit appeals for underpaid amounts
  • Responsible for all delegated activities, tasks, and projects to completion
  • Update contact lists, create labels, and track case/docket deadline
  • Perform research as needed

Position Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation calendaring software (Milana preferred)
  • Experience with paralegal activities preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, dependability, and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion is needed
