Job Description
Position: Practice Management Specialist
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Must live local to Downtown Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York)
Pay: $35 to $40 per hour
Experience: 2+ years of law firm marketing experience.
Education: College degree and demonstrated academic excellence is strongly preferred.
Type: Full-time; Temporary
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 to 5:30pm (ET, East Coast) or 8:30am to 5:00pm (PT, West Coast)
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Practice Management Specialist to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Support department Practice Managers and Employment Practice Group on initiatives to enhance business and strategic operations.
- Responsibilities include assisting Practice Managers on preparation of communications related to winning new work enhancing group profile/reputation.
- Supporting the practice management team and practice group chairs in implementing strategic plan priorities.
- Attending practice group meetings, assisting with financial report development/meeting materials.
- Support seminars, webinars, CLEs and events and act as liaison to event planning team; supporting management during major events.
- Provide general administrative support to practice management team/attorneys in practice group operations.
- Tracking/monitoring related budgets and processing budget requests.
- Providing overflow marketing and communications support to create, update, and organize marketing collateral, practice group blogs, and social media platforms.
- Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) involving significant practice group participation, complex pricing, and multiple relationship partners.
- Drafting informal pitches and proposals to support the business development efforts of the practice group.
- Support the collection, storage, maintenance and distribution of attorney biographies.
Position Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) is required.
- Experience in CRM technology is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
- Stellar writing ability including excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to take ownership of projects, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
