Job Description
Position: Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Remote (with requirements to be in the office once a month, office can be in RIV, OC, DTLA, SAC, HOU, OR, DC)
Experience:
- 5+ years of complex commercial real estate/corporate experience
- Must have California real estate experience (Texas real estate is a plus!)
Education: Bachelor’s or Associate Degree or ABA approved paralegal certificate
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: M-F, 9:00am - 5:30pm (Work overtime as required)
Pay: $80-95k/yr (based on experience)

Job Description:
- Assist Attorneys in the Transactional Real Estate practice group with pre-closing, closing, post-closing tasks
- Responsible for assembling and organizing transactional real estate documents and conducting closings for finance and purchase and sale transactions
- Review of title & survey, preparation of due diligence and closing checklists, and composing executive summaries for leases and other real estate documents
- Preparing new matter memos/engagement agreements
- Performing document formatting and conversions
- Organizing and filing documents/emails
Position Requirements:
- Municipal experience is desired
- Must be familiar with filing documents with the Secretary of State, Department of Corporations, Internal Revenue Service and the Franchise Tax Board, and obtaining tax identification numbers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with standard legal database software
- Organized and highly detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
