Job Description
Position: Records Specialist
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Fully onsite)
Pay: $60,000 to $70,000 annually
Experience: 2+ years of legal records or information management system experience to perform records operations and assist with the administration of electronic/paper records.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree or completed coursework in Business Management, Information Science, or a related field is preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, 9:00am to 5:30pm

Job Description:
- Maintain responsibility for physical and electronic records management (actively manage office onsite and offsite files), information mobility (file transfers), information barriers, legal holds, and retention of client records in compliance with Firm policies and standard procedures.
- Utilize Records Management System to enter, index, and update folder, subfolder, and box content, including running client, matter, lawyer, and other defined reports and forms.
Position Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication and time management skills.
- Must have knowledge of law firm information management principles to execute appropriate operational decisions.
- Experience with records management software is needed (iManage Records Manager (IRM), FileTrail, LegalKEY, preferred).
