Los Angeles law firm seeks a Recruiting Coordinator with 1 year of professional office experience (preferably with some recruiting or marketing experience). Responsibilities include communication with associates, lateral and of-counsel attorney candidates, scheduling interviews and greeting applicants; assisting with planning programs and events, including preparation and distribution of schedules, packets, and post-interview feedback; and arranging travel for candidates when interviewing in the Western Regional branch offices. Selected candidate will maintain the On Campus Interview calendar, and handle all related event responsibilities include assisting with the planning of events, dinners and luncheons; and maintaining RSVPs. The Recruiting Coordinator will prepare budgets for all events, communicate with vendors, and arrange transportation. Administrative responsibilities include updating all attorney education charts; processing all training and recruiting related check requests; recruiting spreadsheet management; and expense reporting and calendar maintenance for the Directors of Recruiting and Associate Development. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A bachelor’s degree is required. The Recruiting Coordinator must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook functions; strong writing skills with attention to detail; excellent technical skills; strong communication skills; and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A professional demeanor and the ability to work independently is required.
